Three steps and you are working

  1. Download the .zip

Grab the Flowy add-on from this page. It is one small .zip file. Do not unzip it.

  2. Install it from disk

In Blender open Edit › Preferences › Get Extensions and choose Install from Disk. Or drag the .zip onto the Blender window.

  3. Open Flowy and sign in

In the 3D viewport press N and open the Flowy tab. Sign in with your Flowy account from your browser.

One-click tools on a render or texture

Run remove background, upscale, relight, expand and edit with a prompt on a viewport render, the image open in the Image Editor or a file. Place the result as a plane or replace the active image texture.

Generate images into your scene

Write a prompt, pick a model, an aspect ratio and a count, and optionally use your viewport or a file as a reference. Results become image planes at the 3D cursor, or go straight into the active object's material.

Generate video onto a plane

Generate a clip from a prompt, with an optional start frame taken from your viewport. The result is placed as a plane with a movie texture, sized to the video.

Generate 3D models

Describe an object or give it a reference image and Flowy generates a model. It is imported as glTF at the 3D cursor and left selected, ready to move, texture and render.

Your Flowy library, in the panel

Browse recent generations as a thumbnail grid and import one with a click. Downloads are saved to a folder you choose, so the files stay with your project.

Agent control, only when you allow it

Turn on Allow agent control to let an agent read your scene and run Python in Blender through the Flowy bridge. It is off by default and you can switch it off at any time.

Runs on your Flowy credits

The plugin uses the credits in your workspace, shared with the web app and every other plugin. Results also save to your Flowy library.

Questions

Before you install

The short answers about running Flowy inside Blender. Still stuck? See what shipped.

Where do I find Flowy after installing?

In the 3D viewport press N and open the Flowy tab in the sidebar. If it is not there, check that the add-on is enabled in Edit › Preferences › Get Extensions.

How do I install the add-on?

Download the .zip from this page and keep it zipped. In Blender open Edit › Preferences › Get Extensions, choose Install from Disk and pick the file. You can also drag the .zip onto the Blender window.

Which versions of Blender work?

Blender 4.2 or newer, on macOS, Windows or Linux. The add-on uses the extensions format that Blender introduced in 4.2.

Which tools are included?

Image, video and 3D generation, one-click tools such as remove background, upscale, relight and expand, and your Flowy library. Results are placed in the scene as image planes, materials, video planes or imported models.

What does agent control do?

When you turn on Allow agent control, an agent connected through the Flowy bridge can read your scene and run Python in Blender. It is off by default, nothing connects until you switch it on, and you can switch it off again at any time.

Do I need an account, and what does it cost?

You need a Flowy account. The Blender plugin runs on the credits in your Flowy workspace, the same credits the web app uses, so there is nothing separate to buy. Plans and credit packs are on the pricing page. See pricing

Where do my results go?

Results come back into Blender, and they are also saved to your Flowy library, so you can find them again on the web, on the canvas or in any other plugin.

Does it need an internet connection?

Yes. Generation and the one-click tools run on Flowy, so Blender needs to be online to sign in, spend credits and bring results back.

Are my files used to train models?

What Blender sends to Flowy is handled under the same terms as the rest of Flowy. The privacy policy is the source of truth for how content is stored and used. Read the privacy policy

Can I use the results commercially?

Commercial use follows your Flowy plan, exactly as it does on the web. Check the plan you are on and the terms for the details. Read the terms
